I’m thankful for the teammates I get to work with everyday, and I’m sure you feel the same way about yours. 😄

I’m especially thankful when a Tettra page my teammate has written answers a question I have. The fact that they took the time to document something with my productivity in mind makes me want to show them some gratitude in return.

It was moments like this that inspired us to build a new feature to help us show teammates we appreciate the work they do to make our lives easier.

You can now “thank” your teammates in multiple places throughout the app and in Slack. For example, when someone creates or updates a page:

We also wanted a way for you and your team to show off the thanks they’ve received, so we updated the user profile pages to include this and some other relevant info.

We’ve already seen hundreds of you thank your teammates for their helpful work after quietly launching it a few weeks ago. We’re excited to see more of you do it going forward as well!

Previously, if you had the Slack integration enabled, Slack notifications would be enabled by default when you published a new page or updated a page unless you unchecked this checkbox.

We heard feedback from folks that they were accidentally sending notifications for minor changes because they would forget to uncheck the notification checkbox.

We’ve removed that checkbox and notifications aren’t sent automatically any more. Now, to send notifications to slack, you can hit the share to channel button after publishing a new page or a page update.

This will hopefully cut down on the noisiness of the Slack notifications and make the content you want to share stand out more.

Oftentimes, you have existing documentation that lives outside of Tettra in Google Drive. We wanted to make it easier to use that documentation in Tettra without forcing you to recreate it.

With External Docs, you can easily add a Google Drive file to Tettra, just like a Tettra page. These Docs can be added to categories & folders, and are searchable by title, just like a Tettra page.

When creating content in Tettra, you’ve probably run into a situation where you want to share a page with a few people for feedback before sharing with the larger group. With the new draft sharing feature, that’s now possible.

In the editor, you can add draft viewers from this menu.

Draft viewers can see a read-only version of the draft in progress before you publish it.

You now can see all your unanswered suggestions and unpublished drafts in one simple Todo list on the dashboard. This makes it easier for you to quickly triage what you need to get done in Tettra.

As part of this change, dashboard pinned pages were moved to the sidebar and renamed to "bulletin board". We thought it was a more descriptive name. As a reminder, admins can pin pages to everyone’s bulletin board so everyone will see them on their dashboard.

Is the sidebar cramping your style? You can now collapse it to give your content more room to breathe. It makes it easier to read pages on smaller screens.

You can now sort the category page by title or last modified date. This makes it easier to find that page you’re looking for.

In addition to creating pages via Zapier, you can now create suggestions as well. Zapier lets you use triggers from other apps to perform actions. For example, you could set up a zap to automatically create a suggestion to write up a Win/Loss analysis when a deal is closed in HubSpot.

Note: Analytics are only available on "Scaling" plans.

You can now use our in app analytics to get a better idea of team usage, keep tabs on out-of-date pages, and report back to your team on individual buy-in. The first report you’ll have access to is the “Stale Pages” report which shows you pages that haven’t been updated or viewed in the last 3 months.

Sort by name, last modified date, or last viewed date. As you go through this report, you’ll be able to archive pages that are no longer relevant, suggest an update, edit, or mark the page as fresh if there’s no need to make any changes. Simply click the kebab menu to the left of the page and take your pick.
