In addition to creating pages via Zapier, you can now create suggestions as well. Zapier lets you use triggers from other apps to perform actions. For example, you could set up a zap to automatically create a suggestion to write up a Win/Loss analysis when a deal is closed in HubSpot.
In App Analytics (Scaling)

Note: Analytics are only available on "Scaling" plans.
You can now use our in app analytics to get a better idea of team usage, keep tabs on out-of-date pages, and report back to your team on individual buy-in. The first report you’ll have access to is the “Stale Pages” report which shows you pages that haven’t been updated or viewed in the last 3 months.
Sort by name, last modified date, or last viewed date. As you go through this report, you’ll be able to archive pages that are no longer relevant, suggest an update, edit, or mark the page as fresh if there’s no need to make any changes. Simply click the kebab menu to the left of the page and take your pick.
We’ll be working on bringing you more reports in the coming months, but we’d love to hear your feedback!

New "Contributor" User Type (Scaling)
Note: this user type is only available on "Scaling" plans.
With the new “contributor” user type, you’ll be able to set more granular permissions with your team. Contributors can create and edit content, but can’t do account level things like, creating/editing categories, inviting users, or changing permissions. You can start inviting users as contributors or switching existing users over now.
As part of this change, we’re also renaming the “user” user type to “editor” to make the different types more clear. All existing “user” type users will be converted to “editors” and will retain all the same permissions. There’s no change you have to make on your end.
If you need any help with setting up user types, let us know over at support.tettra.co

Scheduled Suggestions

Now when you create a suggestion, you can schedule it to be created in the future. You can use this feature when you want someone to make an update after something happens, like a meeting or a product launch.
For example, I know that I want to update a page about a new feature we’re working on to add metrics after launch. I can schedule a suggestion for myself to update the feature documentation in 90 days with post-launch metrics.

More details
Recently, our team sat down and did some analysis about what makes our customers most successful. We found that all of our most engaged customers are deep users of our Page Suggestions feature.
If you’re not familiar, suggestions are a way for your team to suggest new content that might be missing and suggest updates to existing content in Tettra.
This discovery, plus the fact that Suggestions are one of our unique features, made us decide to focus on improving suggestions this quarter. Here’s what we’ve updated:
Put a suggestion in a folder
When you create or edit a suggestion, you can now add a folder. Once the page is created, it will be properly organized into that folder.
Suggest update button in page footer
Your team has been able to suggest updates for a while, but we found that many folks didn’t know this was an option because it was hidden in the page dropdown. We’ve added a new button to the bottom of every page to make it easier for you and your teammates to suggest updates.
Update Suggestions visible on page
Once you create an update suggestion, you’ll now be able to see those suggestions right at the bottom of the page with the comments. That way, whoever is reading the page will know if something needs to be updated.
Suggestions visible in sidebar
While working with new customers, we found that it was really useful for teams to create a number of suggestions first to “scaffold” out what your wiki will look like over time and assign those suggestions to subject matter experts. We wanted you to be able to see that scaffold so the account didn’t feel empty.
We also wanted to show your teammates those pages that will be created once the suggestion is completed. We hope this prevents the creation of duplicated suggestions.
Permanently Delete closed suggestions
Keeping closed suggestions around can be useful for future reference (since they show up in search). However, sometimes you might want to delete a duplicate suggestion or a test suggestion. Once a suggestion is closed, you can choose to delete it permanently.
That’s it for this update. Thanks so much to all those who gave us feedback over the past few months, please keep it coming!

Personal Bookmarks

You now have the ability to bookmark pages for personal use. This can be useful to keep pages that you use most often handy. These bookmarks are per user, so only you can see and edit your own bookmarks

New Dashboard

Now that you have access to all categories along the left hand side of the Tettra app, we felt that the current dashboard was a bit redundant. We thought that your dashboard would be more useful as a dynamic list of updates instead of a static list.
We also wanted to add the ability to pin a page to the very top of everyone’s dashboard, regardless of what category it’s in.
With that in mind, we decided to completely redesign the dashboard to keep you up-to-date with all the activity happening in your Tettra account. You’ll now see the following items on your dashboard:
- Newly published pages
- Page updates
- Page and suggestion comments
- New suggestions
- Closed suggestions
- Reactions on pages
- Your unpublished drafts
Admins can now also pin any page to the top of everyone’s dashboard for quick access. We use it to pin our quarterly, monthly, and weekly goals.
We’ve been using this new dashboard internally and really think you’ll like it.

Removed Category Pinning

You now no longer have the ability to pin a category. Instead, all categories are reorder-able by default. This makes it less tedious to rearrange your categories. Let us know what you think!
